STILLEN / Brake Pros works with premier brake pad manufacturers to develop the proprietary line of Metal Matrix pads. For most vehicles, application-specific grades of predominantly semi-metallic compounds are chosen, often with the right amount of ceramics and other components mixed in to provide higher friction than OE pads. Their ability to operate at a higher heat range, resulting in less chance of brake fade, is critical when choosing performance pads. Other pad compound choices are also available for many applications.
